Limited Edition Baby Lips!!!

I'm so excited that I have found at least one shade of the limited edition baby lips! I looked when they first started showing up but with no luck then I had given up. But today I went to my local Walmart and found this pack! I was so happy! I want to check other walmarts to see if they have the other pack with the coral one. The peach kiss is a permanent color but I haven't tried it so I'm ok trying it too. I hope I find the other limited edition shades :)

November Favorites!!

So December is finally here, countdown till my bday.  For most this is an exciting countdown but for me it is a depressing one.  It's a countdown of my youth withering away slowly.  Haha I know I'm being SUPER dramatic but hey it's how I feel lol.  I can imagine it'll be worse as I get older but there is nothing I can do to stop me from getting older =[

Anyhoo this is a post of products I used and loved last month.  I'll start from left to right.
 1. Maybelline's dream lumi concealer- I have the shade radiant and it's a brightening pinky shade.  To be honest it might be a little to light for me but it really does brighten and highlights well.  I like it for those days that I don't get a lot of sleep or I just want to look extra awake and bright and glowy.  Now when I say glowy I don't mean shimmery, there is no shimmer in this product, the shade just brightens and makes you look healthy.

2.L'oreal extra volume collagen mascara- I've been using this mascara all month as my first layer.  I'm the type to layer them so I use this one with Tarte's Lights camera lashes mascara.  This one is in waterproof, and I like how it holds the curl of my lashes.  Also it's a very dry formula and those with straight lashes know that dry formulas don't weigh down your lashes.  It does have a large fiber brush but I find it easy enough to apply.  It does not lengthen at all but I mean it is labeled a volumizing mascara.

3. Revlon's lipstick in Fabulous Fig- Dark lips are in trend for fall and I'm sure it will follow into winter.  I've loved this color for a while and I first saw it on Sccastaneda's youtube videos.  It's a hard color to find but I bought mine from Rite Aid.  It comes in two formulas, the one I have it in is in the color stay formula which goes on creamy and then sets on your lips and lasts for a while, then the other is the matte formula.  I like the formula I have because I don't have to worry about it getting all over my face, as it does transfer a bit but not a lot.

4.Revlon's lipstick in Va Va Violet- I know, I know, this lipstick looks black in the tube but its purple on the lips.  I've never tried this lipstick on its own only because it looks scary but mixed with Fabulous Fig it looks so good in my opinion.  Fabulous fig is more reddish brown but mixed with Va Va Violet it gives it a more plummy purple look.

5. Bed Head Masterpiece Hairspray- THIS HAIRSPRAY SMELLS AMAZING!!!! That and it holds great. I'm not sure if it adds shine or not, my hair is already shiny so I can't tell. But I would recommend this on the smell alone.  If you don't like sweet smells stay away from this but I love it.

6. Marshmallow Fireside scent from Bath and Body Works- I love this scent!!!! Smells soo good. Like I said I love sweet smells but this has a hint of smokiness from the "smoldering woods".  I have it in the wallflower form but they also have this scent in candle form and its so good.  Make sure you look out for coupons and sales, Bath and Body works always has great deals!

Yay for dark lip trend!

So my boyfriend's dog decided he wanted to knock me out by smashing his face into mine and gave me a swollen plus bruised lip. Next day it was just bruised so to conceal it I wore a dark lipstick. A mix of revlon's fabulous fig and VA VA violet. I really like dark lipstick :) if you're really scared of a dark lip I would suggest fabulous fig it's a wearable Berry color.

O.P.I: Stranger Tides

Since I was home bored being sick I decided to paint my nails.  The base coat that I'm currently using is Essie's Grow Faster.  I've been using this base coat for months now and I like it as a base coat.  One thing I would say is that it does just that, grow your nails at a fast pace.  If your nails are healthy and strong but don't grow fast enough for your liking then I would absolutely recommend this.  But if your nails are brittle and peel, I would not recommend this product because this product does not make your nails any stronger.  So based on your own nails you can decide if this product is for you.  Another thing I would suggest is that you let this base coat dry completely before you paint your nails.

I really like OPI's Stranger Tides for the fall its a sage green but can look beige from far.  Even though it's a green it's still very neutral.  The truth though is that OPI is one of my least favorite formulas. I find it to be hard to apply, kinda gooey and streaky if you're not patient.  But for some colors it's worth it lol.  Not only is it hard to apply I find that it chips really fast on my nails.

Lastly I finish with the top coat Out the Door.  I would compare this to Seche Vite but it's a bit different.  Very similar but different.  It's advertised the same as a fast drying top coat and I would say it is fast but not as fast drying as Seche Vite.  The bad thing about Seche Vite is that it gets super gloopy after half the bottle.  I haven't experienced the gloopiness yet in the Out the Door top coat but I still have more than half the bottle still.  If anything changes I'll be sure to post on it.  Another thing is that Seche Vite dries really thick on the nail.  This one is shiny but not as thick when dried. I like it just as much as Seche Vite and with the price tag 4.99 as opposed to the 9.99 for Seche Vite I'll take it! [=

Please excuse my dry cuticles lol but this is how the color looks in natural lighting. I love it!

My first Blog post!

So yesterday I started getting a cold and today I woke up worse, so I stayed home caught up on some of my favorite T.V. shows like Walking Dead, Pretty Little Liars, Revenge, Bones.  I was a little bored so I decided to start up this blog.  I've been thinking about it for a while, but I don't really feel like I have time but then again you just have to make time for things these days.  The person who gave me the idea to start a blog was actually my cousin, so Christine if your reading this thank you for the idea! I thought I would start off this blog with a post of what is to be expected and maybe even a little about myself.
First of all this blog will mostly be about makeup, which is my obsession, which is an understatement for people who know me well.  I'm mostly into makeup, I dabble a little in hair care and skin care but I love makeup.  But I don't want to restrict myself on only posting things about makeup so if I feel like it I might post about T.V series or food or any of my other many hobbies.  I know that is vague haha so im sorry if that didn't clear up anything for you of what kind of blog this will be.
I'm excited to start this blog! So if you share my love for makeup then I would appreciate if you followed my blog!
